MenuMate aims at improving your productivity level by allowing you to activate your app's menus next to your cursor's current position. This way, you eliminate the time wasted going back to your status bar again and again.
Easy to setup productivity tool for accessing your app's menus
Upon launch, MenuMate will add a new menulet to your status bar, allowing you to define a keyboard combination or a mouse button for activating its function. The same menu allows you to deactivate the app's status bar menu, which means that MenuMate will work in the background, without making its presence known.
For MenuMate to be able to display any applications menus next to the cursor, you must add the utility to the list of tools that can control your Mac: launch the System Preferences, navigate to the Security&Privacy panel, and check the box associated to the MenuMate app in the Accessibility tab.
Quickly see any app's menus by using a hotkey or a mouse button
MenuMate proves to be very useful if you are working on a large display, or you are using multiple monitors: you do not have to go back and forth to have access to certain tools that can be activated only through the app menus. At the same time, this if very useful if you are working with a trackpad and you want to prevent repetitive actions that might strain your wrist.
To conclude, MenuMate is a great tool to have around if you want to avoid wasting time navigating around your screen unnecessarily: the utility places any app's menus right next to your cursor in order to make all the available options easily accessible.
The best part is that the MenuMate functionality can be activated either by a hotkey, or by pressing a mouse button: both actions can seamlessly integrate within your workflow with very little effort.
